Fifth Week ~~ January 14-18, 2013

Auditing the planned and unplanned discharge was my task this week. Auditing the time was the most important then everything follows, like the turn-in, the discharge summary, discharge orientation, the inpatient evaluation form (PEF) and the gate pass, sometimes there's are more than five patients discharge. There are different kinds of payments: the individual, express VIP, and the HMO.

Sorting the Policy and accepting telephone calls.

My boss was invited to lecture the nurses about the Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA). It says that every day is a JCIA day, because it’s not the popularity but the service that they gave to their patient and the trust that the patient gave to them.

We also segregate different policies, after we need to distribute it to the 32 units of nurses. Policies are very important because it is the baseline of every act in the hospital.
